I received an arc of this book through a giveaway. I gave this book 5/5 stars!
The beginning of the book was slow, and I honestly thought that it wasn't going to be the book for me. But after continuing to read, I couldn't help but fall in love with it, and especially the characters! I don't usually enjoy when books are written in third person, but I think this time was done really well. It fit with the story. I think there could have been a little more character development with Nadya, particularly with her tie to her saint. Even with that small bump, I think this book deserves five stars! It was everything I didn't know I needed. It had everything that I love in a book, including gothic elements, betrayal, and a hate-love romance. Wicked Saints tore me apart. First, it took its sweet time, piece by piece. But that was before the storm hit and went crazy. If you're debating on whether or not you want to read this book, I will make the decision for you. READ IT! I think that if you enjoyed The Cruel Prince and the second book in that trilogy, then there is a good chance that you may like this book. Can't wait for the next book!!
