Review of A Court of Mist and Fury

I gave this book 5/5 stars!

This book is a masterpiece! I will be thinking about this book for the rest of the month, maybe even longer. It didn't suffer middle book syndrome and it was honestly better than ACOTAR. I had high hopes for this book because the first one left a mark on me, and it exceeded expectations. Even knowing spoilers from social media didn't tamper with my feelings and thoughts while I read the book.

All great books have an ending, and this ending was... crazy to say the least. It's honestly one of my favorite endings I have ever read. I have never felt so strongly about something like this. It rolled be through so many different emotions at once, and it was so beautifully written. I knew before I had even finished the final two chapters that I needed to order the next book ASAP otherwise I might explode because of what Maas left her readers with at the end of the book.

- THIS NEXT PARAGRAPH CONTAINS SPOILERS! -

I enjoyed seeing how the characters were dealing with the trauma that occurred near the end of ACOTAR, <spoiler> especially since it created rifts through bonds. </spoiler> It brought out a different side of everyone and it was interesting to see how they responded to each other. So, with that being said, there was definitely character development all throughout the book.

- SPOILERS ENDED -

I am so, so happy that answers to the questions formed from ACOTAR are revealed in this book. The answers were satisfying in their own way to find out, and they were definitely ones that I was hoping for. Ones I didn't expect, but I am more than happy and content with them.

New friendships are formed and new characters are introduced. They are each lovely in their own way and have personalities that make them relatable. I found myself getting confused over who was who since there were two people with names I thought were similar (and the same thing happened with city names), but I got the hang of it after a while.

This book is everything I hoped it would be and more. I enjoyed reading every word and there was never a dull moment. Maas' writing is beautiful and I could have read this book day and night without putting it down.

This review is also on Goodreads and Bookbub!

Synopsis:
“Tell me what you see.”
“A world divided in two.”

Feyre survived Amarantha's clutches to return to the Spring Court-but at a steep cost. Though she now has the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can't forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin's people.
Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court. As Feyre navigates its dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms-and she might be key to stopping it. But only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future-and the future of a world torn apart.
#1 New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Sarah J. Maas expands Feyre's world beyond even her wildest imagination in this seductive and stunning sequel to A Court of Thorns and Roses.

Review of The Queen of Nothing (SPOILER FREE)

This review is the SPOILER FREE version. I am giving this book 5/5 stars! GUYS I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S OVER! I DON'T WANT IT TO END! I really enjoyed reading this book, and I wish there were more books to come. I definitely think that there could be more if Holly Black wanted to make it happen. I live for Jude and Cardan's relationship, and their own personalities. I love these two so much. They are so skillfully crafted and have many layers to their personalities. There is more than just the sad, drunk boy, more than just the strong, power hungry girl. Their relationship grows (in a good or a bad way, you will find out) in this book and it tore me up! Many questions that had been unanswered in the second book are answered in this book. I feel like there are questions I still have that this book brought up, but it's nothing big that will eat at me for all eternity... I like the first half, but I really like the second half of the book. So much happene...

Review of Rebel

I am giving this book 3.5/5 stars. This book was more interesting than Prodigy , but not as interesting as Legend . Maybe more like Champion , in my honest opinion. I wasn't really interested in the beginning. It went slow and didn't feel like it was starting until around half way through the book. The beginning gives a lot of information on Antarctica's technology (which I was glad to learn more about) and I loved seeing how Day and Eden work through their past traumas and relationship struggles. I liked seeing how the Republic is handling things after war and what happens to Day and June after the events at the end of Champion . It goes over different types of relationship tensions and how their lives have changed and are going. I think it could have been shortened at least a little bit though. - SMALL SPOILER IN NEXT PARAGRAPH - We don't see Eden's bullies after the Level system is shut down. I found myself wondering what was happening to them and how the...

Review of Ascenders

Amazon           I received this book from the author for an honest review. I gave it 3.5 stars! I did like this book, but it wasn't completely for me. There were spectacular descriptions on the appearance of different things. I could clearly picture what the author wanted me to see, and it wasn't so much so that I couldn't use my own imagination. I also liked that the author did not streamline the entire book, so it felt like there was more to the story. Personally, I think that it added to the writing quality and was refreshing.  The story was original. I love when the afterlife is played with because we don't know a lot about it. Being able to follow Walker through her experience was interesting and...
